Catching Up With Charles Kelly
Section #1: Lacrosse Related
My favorite thing about wearing Carolina Blue is the tradition it carries.
I love competing for this incredible coaching staff because they are the best in the country.
My most underrated strength about my lacrosse game is my deceptive speed.
My best friend on my high school lacrosse team was Drew Schautz and he is now playing at Notre Dame.
Every high school recruit should dream of becoming a Tar Heel because you have the best opportunities to win a championship here.
Section #2: Your Interests
An ideal Saturday afternoon in the summer is spent at the beach.
My teammate with the best taste in music is Kevin Walker because he’s a Cristoball in ‘19 on Sound Cloud.
My favorite professional sports team is the Philadelphia Eagles.
The best movie I’ve ever seen on a lacrosse bus trip is Shutter Island.
The foreign country I would love to visit most is Lebanon because the beach and the ski resorts are only two hours.
Section #3: Food
My favorite tailgate foods are hot dogs and Gatorade.
My favorite fast food restaurant is Chipotle because it’s the best.
Sweet, salty or both? Salty.
My favorite food made by a relative is my Mom’s Mahi Mahi.
My favorite Chapel Hill dining spot is Lucha Tigre.
Section #4: Digging into your Personality
If I possessed the gift of time travel, I would go to Bill Gates’ garage Pre Microsoft.
The person in history I would most want to have dinner with is Ben Franklin.
People would be very surprised to know I read books in the locker room before games.
In a quarter century I would love to be living in Philadelphia and be retired.
The most interesting or fascinating person I’ve met in my time at UNC is Sally Mack because she is the unofficial mayor of Chapel Hill.
