October 21, 2025 | Men's Lacrosse
COLUMBUS, OHIO – The University of North Carolina men's lacrosse program will travel north to face Ohio State Sunday morning, in the 2025 MRB Thumbs Up Game.
Carolina and the Buckeyes continue the annual fall scrimmage, with all proceeds benefiting the Michael Breschi Foundation.
Michael R. Breschi was the eldest child of Carolina head coach Joe Breschi and his wife Julie. Michael was born in Columbus, Ohio, during Breschi's tenure as head coach of the Buckeyes.
After his passing in 2004, a scholarship was founded to honor Michael, courtesy of the generosity of friends and family across the country. The scholarship is awarded annually to a current member of the Ohio State men's lacrosse team, who most exemplifies great companionship, dedication and character.
