Competed as a true freshman and immediately shined as one of the top newcomers in the ACC ... Adapted quickly to collegiate tennis in singles play, going 16-7 overall, 11-4 in dual matches and 4-2 in the ACC regular season ... Went 1-1 at No. 2 singles, 8-2 at No. 3 and 2-1 at No. 4 ... Also went 5-3 in early-season singles tournaments ... In doubles, played primarily at the No. 1 position with graduate student Vladislav Melnic, going 10-7 there ...
