General: Three-time returning letter winner in the midfield unit...saw action in a reserve role as a freshman and junior...adds depth in the Tar Heels' midfield and contributes as a practice player...one of the top players in the Midwestern high school ranks in 2000...an executive member of the Athletes Coming Together program at Carolina...serves as an executive committee member. 2003 Season: Saw action in the Tar Heels' season-ending win over Air Force.

Prep: Graduated on June 1, 2000 from Seaholm High School in Birmingham, Mich....played four years of lacrosse there as a midfielder and an attackman...played two of those seasons on the varsity...was named All-Midwest and first-team All-State in lacrosse in both 1999 and 2000...was the captain of the 2000 Seaholm team and the 2000 squad's co-Most Valuable Player...was named to the All-Detroit Metro First Team as a senior...was named a Michigan-Ohio underclassmen All-Star in 1998 and 1999 and was selected to play for the Team Michigan Vail Shootout Select Team...led Seaholm to the 2000 Michigan lacrosse state finals...also played four years of football at Seaholm...started both ways at cornerback and wide receiver as a senior...his junior year he was the backup quarterback and a wide receiver...also played quarterback on the freshman team and junior varsity quarterback as a sophomore...in football, he was the team's offensive MVP as a senior, All-Area honorable mention and All-Conference second team...played for the basketball squad as a freshman and a sophomore at the shooting guard position...was named to the football and lacrosse All-State Academic Teams...National Honor Society member.
