CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Marci Killeen's 87th minute goal served as the difference maker for Boston College (6-4-6, 1-4-3 ACC), defeating No. 8 North Carolina (9-3-4, 4-3-1 ACC), 1-0.

• Riley Thomas' header in the 19th minute was halted by Boston College's Brennan Klein.
• Just minutes later, Sam Williams' shot attempt was denied.
• Before the half, Tate Lorentz's effort was saved, entering the half tied.
