Men's Soccer Opens ACC Tournament Hosting California

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The sixth-seeded North Carolina men's soccer team (9-3-4, 4-3-1 ACC) hosts No. 11 California (6-7-2, 2-4-2 ACC) Wednesday evening, in the first round of the 2024 ACC Men's Soccer Championship.Â

• Carolina is 29-27-9 entering this year's conference tournament, with three ACC Tournament titles in program history (1987, 2000, 2011).Â
• Last season, the Tar Heels defeated Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and Syracuse to advance to the ACC Final.Â
• All Carolina students receive free admission to the matchup with the Golden Bears, upon showing a valid UNC Student ID at the gate.Â
