No. 11 Men's Soccer Preps For Louisville Sunday

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The 11th-ranked North Carolina men's soccer team (6-2-5, 1-2-3 ACC) hosts Louisville (9-3-2, 2-3-1 ACC) this Sunday at Dorrance Field, in the final home regular season contest for the Tar Heels.

Sunday At Dorrance Field
• Sunday is the final doubleheader of the campaign, with the women set to face Syracuse (1 PM) prior to the men's matchup with the Cardinals.
• The doubleheader is Youth Soccer Day at Dorrance Field. All fans in the eighth grade or younger that wear their favorite soccer jersey, will receive a discounted ticket at the main gate.
• Prior to the men's contest, the Tar Heels will honor 11 members of the program on Senior Day. Ahmad Al-Qaq, Yaya Bakayoko, Ernest Bawa, David Bercedo, Jameson Charles, Vemund Hole Vik, Quenzi Huerman, Jonathan Sinclair, Riley Thomas, Collin Travasos and Til Zinnhardt will take part in the pregame festivities.

• On Tuesday, the Tar Heels and William & Mary battled to a scoreless draw in the non-conference finale for Carolina.
• After being deadlocked in a 0-0 opening half, Tar Heel midfielder Ahmad Al-Qaq forced a shot on goal in the 44th minute, with the Tribe goalkeeper making the save.
• In the 73rd minute, forward Quenzi Huerman was able to break the William & Mary backline, dishing to Juan Caffaro and Andrew Czech, with the shot attempt just missing over the goal.
• For William & Mary, Diogo Bronco nearly broke the tie in the 88th frame, forcing a shot off the post from the top of the box.
• Carolina goalkeeper Andrew Cordes made two saves on the night for the host Tar Heels.
