• Carolina holds the all-time matchup against William & Mary, 16-2-2.Â
• The first matchup between the two schools was in 1971, a 3-0 Carolina victory on the road.Â
• The following year, Carolina collected its first victory over the Tribe in Chapel Hill, 2-0.Â

Last Time Out
• On Saturday, the Tar Heels fell to No. 4 Wake Forest, 1-0, in a highly contested Atlantic Coast Conference matchup.Â

• Andrew Cordes had three big saves in the opening 45 minutes as both teams went into the break locked at zero apiece.
• The Demon Deacons struck first, finding the back of the net in the 51st minute for a 1-0 lead which would ultimately stand as the final tally. Â
• Creating space for himself inside the box was Parker O'Ferrall in the 67th minute for Carolina's best look in the second half, but his shot sailed just over the crossbar.Â
• Cordes made three stops in the second frame to conclude the match with a career-high six.Â

• Entering Saturday night, the program sits at 796 victories in its 77 year history.

• The Carolina men's and women's programs have combined for 1,626 wins, the most in DI history.
