No. 14 Men’s Soccer Victorious Over FGCU, 3-0

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The North Carolina men's soccer team (6-1-4, 1-1-3) scored three goals from three different players, as the Tar Heel posted their third clean sheet in the past four contests, to defeat FGCU 3-0 Tuesday night.
How It Happened
• Parker O'Ferral scored his first career goal in the 16th minute, collecting the ball just outside the box and shooting to the top left corner.
• Martin Vician was tripped in the box in the 20th minute, drawing the penalty kick.
• Ernest Bawa stepped up and converted the penalty kick, scoring his second goal of the campaign to build on the Carolina lead.
• Vician scored Carolina's third goal in the 81st minute, after receiving a long pass courtesy of Charlie Harper, sneaking the ball past the FGCU keeper.

• Carolina is now 9-0-1 all-time against current ASUN programs (FGCU: 2-0-0, Jacksonville: 5-0-1, Stetson: 2-0-0).
• The Tar Heels sit at 5-0-1 in non-conference matchups this season
