Men's Soccer Hosts Virginia Tech In ACC Tournament Opening Round

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The seventh-seeded North Carolina men's soccer team (7-3-5, 2-3-3) begins the postseason Wednesday evening, hosting No. 10 Virginia Tech (4-8-4, 2-5-1) in the First Round of the 2023 ACC Tournament.

ACC Tournament Rundown
• The Tar Heels enter the matchup with a 26-27-8 mark all-time in the league's postseason tournament, highlighted by three titles in 1987, 2000 and 2011.
• All Carolina students receive free admission to the matchup with the Hokies.
• The winner of the matchup will advance to play Wake Forest on Sunday in Winston-Salem.
