Men’s Soccer Remains Unbeaten In ACC After 0-0 Draw With No. 12 UVA
September 27, 2025 | Men's Soccer
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – University of North Carolina men's soccer largely controlled a 0-0 draw against a hot No. 12 Virginia in the driving rain of Charlottesville on Saturday night. The Tar Heels remain unbeaten in the ACC, while navigating one of the nation's tougher league schedules.
While the stats show a significant difference in shots, none of UVA's attempts troubled Carolina goalkeeper Andrew Cordes, who only needed to make two saves while earning his and the defense's fourth clean sheet of the season.
The Tar Heels improved to 4-1-4 (0-0-4 ACC), while the Cavaliers now sit at 5-1-2 (2-0-2 ACC).
