Opening Faceoff
• The Tar Heels travel to Army on Saturday for a top-10 matchup.
• Saturday is the fifth all-time matchup between the two program, with Carolina leading the all-time series, 3-1. The game is the first at Army since the 1983 NCAA Quarterfinal.
• Last Friday, Carolina traveled in-state to High Point, defeating the Panthers 14-2.

• Give Carolina their fourth win over Army, the first on the road at West Point since the 1983 NCAA Quarterfinal.

Defensive Unit Against High Point
• Against High Point on Friday, the Tar Heel defensive unit allowed two goals, the sixth time this season allowing single-digit goals.
• Friday was the third-fewest goals allowed in a single game in program history.
• The Carolina defense did not allow a goal from the 5:49 mark in the second quarter, through the end of the game. The scoreless span for High Point lasted the remaining 35:49 in the contest.
• The second half was the first time not allowing a goal in a half since facing Hofstra in 2013 (second half).
