CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The University of North Carolina men's soccer team secured a hard-earned conference win by defeating Virginia Tech 3-0 on Sunday evening. Dan Klink gave the Heels the lead in the first half and Bertil Rygaard Hansen netted a second-half brace to give the Heels the edge.

The Tar Heels improved to 8-2-4 (2-0-4 ACC), while the Hokies now sit at 5-3-4 (1-3-2 ACC).

20' - With two collisions in the Hokies box, Nacho Abeal secures the Tar Heels first corner kick of the game.
25' - Header by Jack Sandmeyer to Gabriel Bracken Serra leads to a great look on goal but shot high by Bertil Rygaard Hansen
31' – Dan Klink scored on a header off a corner kick from Ryan Dugan.
36' - Nice run up the field by Dylan Kropp ends up with a high shot on goal.
