Attended Gulliver Preparatory School where she primarily played midfield on the soccer team • played varsity all four years winning rookie of the year awad as a freshman • was also the team captain and named squad’s outstanding midfielder • captured best student-athlete award • led Gulliver to four district championships • team was 2013 state runner-up • fought through injuries throughout her high school and club career • had surgeries a year apart for ACL and meniscus tears in both right and left knees in February 2013 and May 2014.

Played for Palm Beach Soccer Academy Magicjack where she was the team captain • a versatile player who starred as a defender, midfielder and forward • led her club team to the following tournament championships – 2013 Disney Showcase, 2012 Florida State Cup, 2012 Manhattan Soccer Classic, 2012 Disney Showcase, 2011 Orange Classics, 2011 Florida Cup, 2011 Atlanta Cup, 2011 Jefferson Cup, 2011 State Cup and 2010 PDA.

Khara Vassell is a native of Miami, Fla. • owner of Island Kids Soccer Charity, collecting soccer gear for orphans in the Bahamas and Jamaica while also conducting socce clinics in those two countries.
