Blum Tabbed ACC Offensive Player Of The Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced women's soccer weekly awards Tuesday afternoon. Lilliah Blum was tabbed ACC Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career.
Blum played an instrumental role in Carolina's win over no. 2 Duke last Thursday. The senior contributed to three of the Tar Heels' four goals en route to securing the top 10 win. Most notably, Blum recorded her first career brace in the match. Her second goal of the game equalized the match while providing a spark for the Tar Heels. The team capitalized on the momentum to net two more goals within the next 20 minutes of game action. The Wisconsin native also tacked on an assist against the Blue Devils.
Overall, Blum took two shots with two on goal for a 1.000 shot and shot on goal percentage for the week. She now ranks third on the team for goals (4) and total points (10) this season.
