Selected by Sporting KC in the first round (14th pick) of the 2017 MLS SuperDraft • Named to the NCAA College Cup All-Tournament Team • NSCAA Third Team All-Region selection • Second Team All-ACC honoree • Team captain that led a defensive corp to a 0.45 goals-against-average, the lowest figure in Division I soccer • Started all 21 matches at outside back • Registered three assists and five shots • Played the second most minutes (1,964) among all field players.

2015 – Junior Season
Tied for fifth in scoring with seven points on two goals and three assists • Had arguably the best game of his career against #2 Notre Dame with one goal and two assists in the 4-2 win on Sept. 18 • For his efforts against the Irish, was named ACC Defensive Player of the Week and to the College Soccer News Team of the Week on 9/22 • Also scored the game-winning goal in the 2-0 win at Pitt on Oct. 2 • Started all 20 matches • Had 22 shots.

2014 – Sophomore Season
Made nine starts and appeared in 15 matches in second season in Chapel Hill • Registered one assist, playing primarily as an outside back.

2013 - Freshman Season
Appeared in 13 contests and made nine starts in his first season with Carolina • Competed in both NCAA matches and started at UC Irvine • Played mostly as an outside back, and showed his ability to get forward becoming an offensive threat • Earned an assist in the 4-0 win over No. 13 Coastal Carolina • Had five shots.
