Bio
General: Three-time letter winner who has run on top two midfield units in each of his first three years...three-time Dean’s List honoree...key to his success is keeping him healthy...has great speed...strong between the lines...has developed the left hand a little bit...will play among the top six midfielders again as a junior in 2016.
2016 (Junior): • Ran with first midfield unit since Denver game • started in first midfield in 14 of 18 games • had eight goals and 14 assists for 22 points • his 14 assists tied for the third most on the team • his 22 points were the most had in a season in his career as he had 17 points as a freshman in 2014 • had 14 assists as a junior after having eight assists in his first two years combined • was the sixth-leading scorer on UNC’s national championship team with 22 points • matched career high for assists in a game with two versus Michigan • named ACC Offensive Player of the Week after his performance in UNC’s 15-11 win at Johns Hopkins • had a career high for assists with three and points with five versus the Blue Jays • had a goal and two assists in the fourth quarter when the Tar Heels outscored the Blue Jays 6-2 to emerge with a 15-11 victory • matched career high for assists with three versus Denver • scored a key goal late in third quarter as Tar Heels rallied from three-goal deficit late in the third period in win at Duke • against Notre Dame, all three of his points came in the fourth quarter • he assisted on goals by Luke Goldstock at 4:47 and 3:48 of the fourth quarter to pull the Tar Heels within a goal at 15-14 • he then tied the game with a goal of his own at 2:56 • named to All-ACC Academic Men’s Lacrosse Team • tapped for ACC Academic Honor Roll for third straight year • spring 2016 Dean’s List selection.
2015 (Sophomore): Was limited to 11 games played after overcoming early-season injury problems...started the last six games of the season in the first midfield...had five goals and two assists for seven points...had two goals and an assist in win over Syracuse...scored a goal and had an assist and two ground balls in victory over Duke...member of the Rising Stars program in the Carolina Leadership Academy...named to ACC Academic Honor Roll.
2014 (Freshman): Saw action in all 15 games, including earning starts in 13 contests…led all freshmen in goals, assists and points with 11, 6 and 17, respectively...notched his first career hat trick against Manhattan…matched his season-high three points with two goals and an assist in 11-8 win against #1 Maryland…through the first three games, landed all of his shots on goal…put nearly 70 percent of his shots on goal for the season…picked up 10 ground balls on the season, including multiple ground balls on three occasions…caused two turnovers…both came against Virginia in the regular season...NCAA All-Freshman selection…named to the All-ACC Academic Men’s Lacrosse Team and the ACC Acadmic Honor Roll…named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester 2014.
Prep: 2013 Under Armour All-America selection…attended high school in native Ontario for three years before finishing his secondary education with two years at the Salisbury School in Connecticut...played for coach Bobby Wynne at Salisbury…a four-sport star in Ontario and then played soccer, ice hockey and lacrosse at Salisbury…Gait Cup All-Star Game MVP…also named All-Canadian and played on team which won Canadian championship two years in a row…had a spectacular career at Salisbury where he was a member of a WNEPSLA championship team...during his junior year at Salisbury the team won the WNEPSLA championship and was ranked #2 in the country…was WNEPSLA leading scorer two years in a row…team captain…two-time All-League and All-State selection…All-America selection…named WNEPSLA midfielder and player of the year…played attack as a junior…in 13 games, he scored 32 goals, had 38 assists and averaged 5.5 points pAlumer game…as a senior, he played in the midfield and had 30 goals and 45 assists in 14 games, averaging 5.4 points per contest…was an honor roll student every semester from ninth through 11th grades…earned first honors at Salisbury School in 12th grade.

If I possessed the gift of time travel I would go to the 1980s and create a tech startup.
The person in history I would most want to have dinner with is Steve Jobs.
People would be very surprised to know I travelled to Europe this summer.
In a quarter century I would love to be living in New York and working at a large investment firm.
The most interesting person I’ve met in my time at UNC is Luke Goldstock because he is very energetic.
