No. 3 Men's Lacrosse Welcomes UAlbany For NCAA First Round

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - For the second-straight year, the North Carolina men's lacrosse team will host an NCAA First Round matchup, welcoming America East champion UAlbany to Dorrance Field Saturday. Opening faceoff between the Tar Heels and Great Danes is set for Noon, televised on ESPNU.

Parking Advisory
• With several home events and graduation commencement across campus, parking will be adjusted for this weekend's game.
• Spectator parking available in Raleigh Road Visitors Lot, Spangler Lot and Bell Tower Deck.
• All cars MUST be removed from Bell Tower Deck no later than 3 PM to prepare for commencement.

• Carolina earned the No. 3 seed for the NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament, hosting America East champion UAlbany in the first round.

Duffy Named Tewaaraton Finalist
• Attackman Owen Duffy was named a finalist for the 2026 Tewaaraton Award, announced Tuesday.
• Duffy is the fourth Tar Heel in program history named a finalist, and the fifth time Carolina has posted finalist representation:

- 2013: Marcus Holman
- 2021: Chris Gray
- 2022: Chris Gray
- 2026: Owen Duffy
• Duffy leads Carolina in assists (39) and points (69), ranking second in goals (30).
Dom Approaching Goals Record
• In March, attackman Dominic Pietramala became the 17th Tar Heel to score 100-or-more goals during their time in Chapel Hill.
• Entering Saturday, the Lutherville, Md. native is fifth on the Carolina career goals list, sitting five away from tying Bert Fett's career record:
1. Bert Fett (1972-1975): 128
2. Jimmy Bitter (2012-2015): 126
3. Joey Sankey (2012-2015): 125
