Track & Field Gears Up For National Championships On Friday & Saturday

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - A small contingent of North Carolina track and field student-athletes will travel to Virginia Beach, Va., to compete in the 2025 NCAA Indoor Track & Field National Championship from March 14 to March 15. The meet will be broadcast on ESPN+.
Last year, the men's team secured the highest team points in the indoor championships history, 26 points, and tied for their highest team finish, 5th place.Â
Parker Wolfe won silver medals in 5,000m and 3,000m. He is the first Tar Heel to medal in two different events at the NCAA Indoor Championship in the same year. Wolfe is one of two Tar Heels to have top-five finishes in the same indoor championship; the other is Reggie Harris, who finished second in the 400m and fourth in the 200m in 1992.
