JOHNSON CITY, TENN. - The North Carolina men's soccer program (0-0-1) hits the road for the first time this season, traveling to East Tennessee State (1-1-0) for a Friday night showdown.

Vemund On The Hermann Watch List
• Just prior to last Thursday's season opener, defender Vemund Hole Vik was named to the 2023 Hermann Trophy Watch List, annually given to the nation's top player.
• Hole Vik arrived in Chapel Hill after spending the last four seasons at Elon.
• The 2022 CAA Defensive Player of the Year, Hole Vik was an All-Atlantic Region First Team Choice, and named a Scholar All-America for efforts in the classroom.
