
Ten Gymnasts Named To All-EAGL Scholastic Team

BALTIMORE, MD. - Ten North Carolina gymnasts have been named to the All-EAGL Scholastic Team, including five-time recipients Kristin Aloi, who is in UNC's Pharmacy School, and redshirt senior Acacia Cosentino.
Senior Janell Sargent earned All-EAGL scholar honors for the fourth consecutive season, while juniors Josselyn Mackey and Lexi Cappalli were selected for the third time. First-time honorees include freshmen Margaret Brown, Megan Marenghi, Lauren Weisel, Kaitlynn Hedelund and Morgan Lane.
In order to be honored as a Scholastic Team member, a gymnast must be active on her school's roster as of January 1, and must have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above after the 2014 calendar year GPA is factored in. Freshmen are eligible with Fall 2014 semester grades only.
The EAGL Championships are set for Sunday, March 22, at Towson University.
