BATON ROUGE, La. – No. 22 University of North Carolina Gymnastics wrapped up the 2026 season in the second round of the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional Thursday afternoon. The Tar Heels finished third in their respective session with a score of 196.250.

All-Around
Gwen Fink was the only gymnast from UNC to compete in the all-around. The senior finished with a score of 38.675 ranking fifth in session I. Fink's highest scores came on vault (9.900) and bars (9.850).

Rotation One – Bars (49.100)
UNC started the meet on bars where they recorded a score of 49.100. The Tar Heels were led by a 9.850 from Gwen Fink. Claire Stippich and Neve King were right behind recording a 9.825 each.

Rotation Two – Beam (48.800)
On the second event of the night, JoJo Valahovic stole the show with a 9.900 on beam. Her score was the first 9.900 of the night for Carolina.

Rotation Three – Floor (49.225)
Carolina posted their highest team score of the night on floor recording a 49.225. Cami Rueda put together a strong routine to record a 9.900. In typical fashion, Sydney Seabrooks had an impressive routine showing why she is All-America on the event. The freshman led the Tar Heels with a 9.925 to come in third during the session.

Rotation Four – Vault (49.125)
The Tar Heels closed out the afternoon on vault turning in their second-highest team score of 49.125. Gwen Fink led the way with a huge 9.900. The senior's score tied for second across session I. Kaya Forbes was right behind with a 9.850.
