Fink Concludes Season At Nationals

FORT WORTH, Texas – Gwen Fink competed as an individual on vault at the 2026 Gymnastics National Championships Thursday night in Fort Worth, Texas. For the second consecutive season, the Tar Heels have sent a gymnast to nationals to compete on vault.
Fink competed in session II of the national semifinal while rotating with Arkansas. The senior recorded a 9.8375 to place 16th in the session.
The Fort Mill, S.C. native previously recorded a career-high 9.900 on vault during the second round of the Baton Rouge Regional to qualify for nationals. Her regional performance also secured her first-career appearance at the national championships.
