Appeared in 22 games during her three years at Yale, starting 20 and logging 1,781 minutes between the posts • Was a mid-season walk-on in 2021 • Finished her Bulldog career with a .810 save percentage, 1.11 goals-against average, 94 saves and seven shutouts • Was twice named the Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week in 2023 as well as to the College Soccer News Women’s National Team of the Week • Recorded five straight shutouts in her six appearances with a .958 save percentage as a junior • Helped the Bulldogs break the program's consecutive shutout record and tie the record for shutouts in a season in 2022 • Named to the 2022 Second Team All-Ivy Team • 2023 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District member • Transferred to Yale from Bowdoin College (2020-21) where she walked onto the varsity soccer, basketball and lacrosse teams before seasons were canceled due to COVID-19.

Attended Staples High School in Westport, Connecticut • Recorded 14 shutouts as a senior to lead her team to a 19-1-2 season • Helped her team win the FCIAC Championship in 2020 and a state semifinal appearance • Named Staples Soccer MVP in 2020 • Also played four years of varsity lacrosse and basketball • Named basketball team captain in 2020, guiding her team to the state semifinals and a No. 1 ranking • Named Staples Basketball MVP in 2020 • Played club soccer for four years with Beachside Soccer Club.

Marisa Rose Sharrock is the daughter of Lauren Zucker and David Shorrock • Father rank track at Bowdoin • Has two siblings, Evan and Eli • Older sister, Evan, rowed at Brown from 2019-23 • Younger brother, Eli, attends UT Austin • Birthday is March 12 • Is the co-founder, president and CFO of PartsMatch, a company she started with two former Yale men’s lacrosse players • Received her bachelor's degree in economics from Yale in May 2024.
Why Carolina?
I wanted an environment that would challenge me athletically and foster my competitive spirit. I chose North Carolina because I would constantly be surrounded by highly motivated individuals that equally valued teamwork, positivity and culture.
