Women’s Soccer Places 10 On All-ACC Academic Team

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced the Women's Soccer All-ACC Academic Team Thursday afternoon. The Tar Heels had 10 players featured on the Academic Team.
Of the UNC student-athletes on this year's team, five are earning the honor for the first time in their career while the other five have been members of the All-ACC Academic Team at least two times during their career at Carolina. Recent graduates, Tessa Dellarose and Kate Faasse were named to the team all four years.

Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team include a 3.0 GPA during the previous two semesters, a 3.0 cumulative average during the player's academic career, must have been enrolled at the institution for at least one year, and the student must be classified as an undergraduate student. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team's games.
