General Information
Morphed into a key player on the 2010 Tar Heels as a holding center midfielder after having earned two letters as a team manager in 2008 & 2009 • attends UNC on a prestigious Morehead-Cain Scholarship • elevated to the varsity in 2010 where she played at holding center midfield as well as a backup goalkeeper • an excellent student • was named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll the past two years • also earned honors on the Dean's List both semesters her sophomore year • is a senior in school but retains junior athletic eligibility • plans to graduate with her class in May 20102 • one of only four seniors on UNC roster • was an APM intern at Google this past summer.
Junior Season (2010)
Winner of UNC's Art Halpern Intensity Award on the 2010 Tar Heel team • named to ACC Academic Honor Roll for the second year in a row • earned accolades on the Dean's List in both semesters of her junior year at Carolina • played in all 24 games for the Tar Heels • totaled 470 minutes, including a season-high 46 in a win at Clemson • had double digit minutes played in all but two games • assisted on the insurance goal in UNC's 2-0 win over Florida • scored the first goal of her career in first round NCAA win over Jackson State.
ODP, National Teams & Club Soccer
Competed for Arsenal Primo club team • was the starting center midfield and team captain for the club • the team won state championship in her age group in 2003, '06, '07 and '08 • the club was a state finalist in 2004 and '06 • Nebraska '91 ODP team captain in both '06 and '07.

Graduated from Westside High School in Omaha, Neb. in May 2008 • played on the soccer team for three years there • was Westside's Wendy's High School Heisman Trophy nominee in 2007 • 2004 National Women's Sports Foundation Nebraska Sportsgirl of the Year • as a sophomore, she started at right midfield and was team's second-leading scorer • moved to forward for her junior and senior years as a starter and led team in scoring two years in a row • was captain of team as a senior • both years she was named first-team All-Nebraska, Metro Conference and Class A • an exceptional student at Westside • was named outstanding freshman, junior and senior girl • a delegate to 2007 Cornhusker Girls State • National Honor Society inductee • a 2007 AP Scholar • 2008 Presidential Scholar nominee and President's Education Awards Program participant • Nebraska Schools Activities Association Academic All-State in '07-'08 • maintained a 4.0 GPA and class rank of No. 2 • Omaha World Herald 2008 Academic All-State second-team choice • played bassoon in the Nebraska All-State Band 2005-07.

Section #1: Soccer
1. The best thing about being a Tar Heel soccer player is being a part of the family.
2. My favorite thing about competing for Coach Dorrance is the constant stream of entertaining dialogue.
3. Since last year the aspects of my training I've worked on the most are my fitness and possession under pressure (5v2).
4. My best friend on another college soccer team is Liz Blackburn of Kennesaw State.
5. My greatest strength as a soccer player is my physical courage.
Section #2: Interests
1. Away from the soccer field and academic pursuits I like to spend time playing other sports (especially flag football) and taking advantage of everything UNC has to offer.
2. If I could compete in another sport at UNC it would be every IM sport or lacrosse.
Section #3: Food & Beverage
1.After a game at Fetzer Field, I'd like to see a buffet spread at McCaskill that included sushi, Chick-fil-A nuggets, fresh fruit and ice cream.
2. My favorite beverage is Frost Glacier Freeze Gatorade.
3. My favorite food made by a relative is Pasta Arrabiata by my Mom.
4. My favorite place to eat in Chapel Hill is Shiki Sushi House of Steak.
5. My favorite guilty pleasure food wise is ice cream.
