Rob Gutheil joined the Carolina men's lacrosse staff as director of player personnel in September 2024
Gutheil, a 1994 graduate of Brown, played for two seasons during Breschi’s time as an assistant for the Bears.
In his senior season, Gutheil was a third-team All-America midfielder, helping Brown advance to the program’s first Final Four. In addition to his national honors, Gutheil was a first-team All-Ivy selection and team captain, while leading all midfielders in assists during the ’94 campaign.
Gutheil comes to Carolina with a background in teaching, coaching and finance.
