Michael Greene joined the University of North Carolina in 2013 and currently serves as a senior associate director within the Academic Support Program for Student-Athletes. In his role, he provides academic counseling for the men’s golf and men’s lacrosse programs in addition to being part of the ASPSA executive team. In recognition of his outstanding contributions, he received the 2023 Ernie Williamson Award from the UNC Athletic Department.
Prior to his time at UNC, Greene began his career in academic support at Indiana University, where he worked from 2008-13.
A native of Stafford, Va., he currently resides in Mebane with his wife, Sarah, and their two daughters, Hannah and Harper.
He earned his undergraduate degree from James Madison University in 2005 and completed his master’s degree at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2008.
