Breschi on Sasser: A freshman goalkeeper from Cary…he’s learned a lot and grown as a young man with us…matured tremendously in the last couple of months here…has been a good practice player for us so far.
High School: Attended Apex High School from 2013-17…coached in lacrosse there by John Hayden…named to All-Conference Team in 2015 and 2017…selected for All-State Team in 2017…played in Great 38 and Bull City all-star games…played on Apex teams which were 2014 state championship runner-up and 2015 state champions…squad won three straight conference championships from 2014-16…four-time honor roll student at Apex High School.
Personal: Full name is John Patrick Sasser…goes by Patrick…son of Robert and Andrea Sasser…was born November 28, 1998 in Cary, N.C. …has a brother, Harrison, 30, and a sister, Emily, 21…undeclared major.

My favorite thing about wearing Carolina Blue is representing a great university.
I love competing for this incredible coaching staff because they push you to be your best.
My most underrated strength about my lacrosse game is my speed.
My best friend on my high school lacrosse team is Tommy Deluca and he is now playing at Cabrini College.
Every high school recruit should dream of becoming a Tar Heel we’re the best.
Section #2: Your Interests
An ideal Saturday afternoon in the summer is spent chilling with the boys.
My teammate with the best taste in music is me.
My favorite professional sports team is the Dallas Cowboys.
Section #3: Food
My favorite tailgate food is wings and Dr. Pepper.
My favorite fast food restaurant is Bojangles because it’s good.
Sweet, salty or both? Both.
My favorite food made by a relative is Mom’s chocolate chip pie.
My favorite Chapel Hill dining spot is Spicy 9.

If I possessed the gift of time travel, I would go back to Lake Placid, 1980..
People would be very surprised to know I enjoy solving a Rubik’s Cube.
The most interesting or fascinating person I’ve met in my time at UNC is Tanner Cook.
