Personal: Born Martin Hooker Edwards on Nov. 21, 2006, in Charlotte • Son of Frank and Catherine Edwards • His father played golf at UNC in 1992 and his brother, Turner, played at Washington & Lee • His other brother, Hughes, also attended UNC • Won a USGA-AJGA Presidents’ Leadership Award, which recognizes leadership, integrity and community service • Carolina Cup event host at Eagle Point Golf Club (2022-24) • Top participant in the Carolina Cup, a AJGA Leadership Links event, raising more than $375,000 over the previous five years.
