Redshirt Season  Started the first two games of the year before suffering a season-ending injury against Seton Hall  Tallied four shots with a pair on goal in limited action.
Sophomore - 2009 Season
Earned NSCAA Third Team All-America honors  Selected to All-ACC First Team  One of five players to start all 22 matches  Led the Tar Heels and ranked seventh in the ACC with 23 points on the year  Tallied a team-high nine goals on the season, ranking 81st in the country  Finished the year with nine goals and five assists for 23 points  Led the ACC in game winning goals with seven  Found the back of the net and dished out an assist in the win over Duke Sept. 18  Notched a brace against Elon Nov. 3  Scored at least one goal in five of eight matches from Sept. 18 to Oct. 13  Scored and added an assist in the final regular season match against Clemson Nov. 6  Tallied three points in the NCAA Tournament with a goal against Brown Nov. 22 and an assist against Drake Dec. 4  Finished the year with 55 shots, putting 31 on frame a percentage of .564.

Has two sisters, both of which played college soccer  A sister played soccer at VCU and another sister played one year at Northeastern  Majoring in economics at Carolina and plans a career in business or professional soccer.
