General: A potential starter in the close defense for the Tar Heels in 2001...three-year letter winner on defense..saw significantly increased playing time a year ago.
2000 Season: Was a key contributor for the Tar Heels last season...played in 12 games as a reserve defenseman, long stick middie and on the man-down unit...had eight takeaways on the season...had four of those takeaways in the Ohio State game.
