I would liken Ryan to a point guard in basketball. Know matter where we put him on the field, he picks up things quickly.
Extremely coachable player. You only have to tell him once and it clicks for him.
He's a guy who will play defensive midfield, offense, wing on the face-off. He will be all over the field. He's one of the most versatile players for us.
His strengths include his lacrosse IQ, the fact he's a great communicator and can be a quarterback of a defense or an offense.
He knows where other guys on the field should be at all times and he's a great teacher to the young guys on the team.
General: 5-11, 185-pound midfielder...returning letter winner.
2011 (Freshman): Saw action in all 16 games, starting against UMBC and Dartmouth...scored 10 goals and had three assists for 13 points...also scooped up nine grounds...scored at least one goal in five straight games in the months of April and May...scored two goals each in wins over Presbyterian and Notre Dame...had a goal and an assist in games versus UMBC and versus Maryland in the ACC Tournament...also scored goals versus Navy, Maryland in the regular season, Virginia and Lehigh...had a season-high three ground balls against Dartmouth...named to 201-11 ACC Academic Honor Roll...a Rising Star in the Carolina Leadership Academy.

2. My favorite thing about competing for Coach Breschi is the family atmosphere.
3. Since last year the aspect of my training I've worked on the most is shooting.
4. My best friends on another college lacrosse team are Jack Moran (St. Joseph's), John Malick (Villanova Club) and Joe Fabrizio (Villanova Club).
5. My greatest strength as a lacrosse player is ground balls.
