Devey Named ACC Offensive Player Of The Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – For the second time this season, Bella Devey was named ACC Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon. The weekly award marks the second straight week that a Carolina women's soccer player has taken home the award.
Devey recorded her third brace of the season, leading the Tar Heels to a victory over No. 16 Virginia on the road last week. Both goals came within just 26 seconds of each other in the first half. Devey's second goal of the night proved to be the game winner, her fourth of the season. Friday's match was also the second consecutive game where she notched a brace.
The Utah native has compiled 12 goals and 25 points this season. Devey continues to be one of the most dominant strikers in the country, ranking third in the NCAA and second in the ACC for total goals.
