North Carolina's Carson Bertagnole and Niall Sheils Donegan both shot 1-over par 141 to advance to match play and the round of 64 in the 2026 United States Amateur in the Philadelphia area.

Bertagnole shot 3-under 67 Tuesday at Merion Country Club, while Sheils Donegan followed his opening-round 70 at Merion with a 1-over 71 today at the Philadelphia Country Club.
