Manning & Stanislaus To Play With U-17 WNT
June 22, 2026 | Women's Soccer
ATLANTA, Ga. – In preparation for the 2026 FIFA U-17 World Cup, head coach Ciara Crinion has named the 20-player roster for an upcoming training camp in Japan including matches against the host. The roster features Carolina women's soccer freshmen, Amari Manning and Deus Stanislaus. UNC leads the way with two of the three college players on the camp roster.
The national team will meet Japan twice on the pitch in Chiba on July 3 and 6. The U-17 squad is prepped for the challenge of taking on one of the most successful nations at the youth international level. The U.S. will look to capitalize on their offensive power after outscoring their opponents 32-0 as they claimed the U-17 Concacaf Championship earlier this spring.
The Tar Heel duo helped the U-17 national team qualify for the World Cup at the Concacaf Championship in Costa Rica last March. Stanislaus was the USA's leading scorer with six goals during the tournament.
