May 31, 2026 | Men's Golf
Sihan Sandhu shot 4-under-par 68 to lead the North Carolina to one of the best rounds of the day as the Tar Heels climbed two spots into seventh place after day three of the 2026 NCAA Men's Golf Championship on the North Course at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.

Â
Carolina's 5-under-par 283 is UNC's best at La Costa and was the fourth-best round of the day by any of the 30 teams. Only LSU (-18), Mississippi State (-9) and Texas (-7) had better rounds on Sunday.
Â
UNC advanced to Monday's fourth and final round of stroke play.
