Humphrey Named ACC Women’s Lacrosse Scholar-Athlete Of The Year, Leads Group Of 22 On All-ACC Academic Team

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – University of North Carolina graduate Ashley Humphrey has been named the ACC Women's Lacrosse Scholar-Athlete of the Year, leading a group of 22 Tar Heels on the All-ACC Academic team, the league announced on Wednesday. Humphrey, a second-team Academic All-American and first-team All-American on the field, joins current assistant coach Marie McCool, who was named Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2017.
Humphrey was tabbed CSC Academic All-District earlier this year and is now a two-time member of the All-ACC Academic team. She earned her bachelor's degree in English from Stanford with a 3.93 before transferring to UNC and securing a master's degree in Applied Professional Studies.
