No. 24 Rowing Advances Three Boats To Grand Finals At 2025 ACC Championship

CLEMSON, S.C. – Following the first morning of action at the 2025 ACC Rowing Championship, No. 24 North Carolina rowing advanced three boats to Saturday's grand finals.
"Well obviously we are really excited about the performances of the fours and the 3V8 making it to the grand final," said head coach Erin Neppel. "There were some really well fought battles from both varsity eights, we're definitely looking for those guys to turn it around tomorrow. Overall, it was a good day for the program. It's time to go recover and get ready for tomorrow. It's going to be a hard day."
In Carolina's first race of the day, the 3V8 came out rearing to go with a time of 6:44.759 in its heat to finish third and move on to Saturday's grand final. Both the V8 and 2V8 boats for the Tar Heels move on to the petite final tomorrow.
Closing out strong, the V4 boat finished third with a time of 7:12.957 to reach the grand final along with the 2V4 which finished second in its heat at 7:25.727 to move on to the final round as well.
Saturday's finals begin at 8:05 a.m. ET and will run until around 10:05 a.m.
