Carolina Earns Three Podium Finishes At Sarasota 2K

SARASOTA, FLA. – With all three boats in the grand finals at the Sarasota 2K, North Carolina rowing earned three top finishes in the final day of racing from Nathan Benderson Park with all boats finishing third in their races.
In the first race of the morning, the V4 finished third at 07:50.16 in a stacked field behind No. 14 UCF and No. 15 Dartmouth. The 2V8 also earned a third-place finish with a time of 07:07.54 against the No. 14 Golden Knights and No. 18 Miami. Rounding out the day, the V8 crew came in third with a time of 06:41.02 behind Miami and UCF.
Carolina is back in action this next weekend, starting on Friday at the Ohio State Regatta, racing at Griggs Reservoir against the likes of Indiana, UCF, Harvard, and the Buckeyes.
