
Dekanoidze Named WCGA Regular Season All-America

PITTSBURGH, Pa - Senior Lali Dekanoidze was named a 2025 Regular Season All-America by the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association on Monday, March 31.
Qualifications:
All divisions utilize the National Qualifying Score at the conclusion of the regular season to determine honorees. Division I: First Team All-America shall be awarded to the top eight (8) finishers, plus ties, of the NCAA regular season for all four (4) events plus the all-around.
Dekanoidze broke her own school record by scoring a perfect 10.0 on bars and became the fourth gymnast in program history to reach perfection. defended her ACC title and was co-champion on her signature event
Gymnastics heads to the University of Alabama for regionals, coming off one of the greatest meets in history in the 2025 Atlantic Coast Conference Championships. The Tar Heels finished third with a score of 197.225. That is the third-best team score – and the fifth 197.0+ – in school history, plus the highest in the Danna Durante era.
