Seabrooks Named ACC Specialist Of The Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced gymnastics weekly awards Tuesday afternoon. Sydney Seabrooks from the University of North Carolina gymnastics program was tabbed ACC Specialist of the Week for the first time in her career.
The freshman continues to put together standout performances for the Tar Heels. Most notably, Seabrooks has recorded a 9.950 on floor in the first two meets of the season, including Carolina's recent home opener. The Clearwater, Fla. native is tied for first in the nation and leads the ACC on the event.
Seabrooks was also named to the ACC Preseason Newcomer Watchlist and Most Anticipated Freshmen List by College Gym News.
