January 29, 2026 | Women's Gymnastics
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – No. 13 University of North Carolina women's gymnastics is set to compete against no. 16 Clemson at Littlejohn Coliseum in Clemson, S.C. Friday at 7 p.m. The Tar Heels will face their third ACC competition and just the second road meet of the season against Clemson.
Last season, Carolina clashed with Clemson in Carmichael Arena where the Tar Heels picked up their first ACC win of the season, 196.575-195.800. In their previous meeting, UNC topped Clemson in three of the four events (Vault, Beam, and Floor).
UNC heads into the matchup behind the senior leadership of Gwen Fink. The senior has been an anchor for the Tar Heels across all events as she ranks seventh in the NCAA for All-Around.
JoJo Valahovic and Sydney Seabrooks also lead the underclassman and elevate the team on their respective events. Valahovic has posted a 9.900 on Vault for two consecutive meets. Seabrooks made her All-Around debut against Pitt where she became the event winner with a score of 39.275. The freshman has been dynamic on the Floor and ranks fifth in the country on the event.
