No. 6 Men's Soccer Welcomes No. 18 NC State Friday

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The sixth-ranked North Carolina men's soccer team (4-0-2, 1-0-0 ACC) welcomes No. 18 NC State (4-0-2, 1-0-0 ACC) Friday night to Dorrance Field.

Blue Out Dorrance Field
• Fans attending Friday night's matchup between the Tar Heels and Wolfpack are encouraged to wear Carolina blue.
• The first 500 students will receive a free Carolina Soccer flag.
• In addition, all Tar Heel students will earn two Carolina Fever points.
Vician Earns ACC Honors
• Tar Heel forward Martin Vician was named the ACC's Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.
• Vician scored the game-winning goal for the Tar Heels in the 2-1 victory over Duke Friday last night, hitting the back of the net in the 78th minute.
• The Bratislava, Slovakia native leads Carolina and the ACC in goals (6), game-winning goals (3), while ranking second in the conference in points (12). In addition, the graduate student is tied for fifth in the country in goals.
All-Time With NC State
• Friday's matchup is the 93rd between the Tar Heels and Wolfpack.
• Carolina leads the all-time series, 56-22-14.
• The last meeting was in 2022, a 2-2 draw in Raleigh.
• Friday's match is the first since 2021 played on Dorrance Field, a 4-0 Carolina victory.

• Last Friday's Carolina defeated Duke in the ACC opener, 2-1.
