Ryan Burnett shot a 2-under-par 70 and David Ford had a 71 on day two of the Linger Longer Invitational Monday at the Great Waters Golf Course in Eatonton, Ga.

Burnett is tied for 12th place after 36 holes at 3-under 141, eight strokes behind the leader, Jacob Bridgeman of Clemson.

Ford is even-par 144 and is tied for 25th heading into tomorrow's third and final round.

The Tar Heels shot 5-over 293 today, dropping two spots to sixth. Carolina is 3 over for the tournament, which Vanderbilt and Georgia share the lead at 20 under par.
