Tyrell Godwin went 4-5 and drove in four runs while scoring three more to lead the North CarolinaTar Heels to an 11-3 victory over the Seton Hall Pirates in a rain-delayed game Saturday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium.
Kyle Snyder (2-0) gave up four hits and one run in five innings of work to pick up the win while Cameron Esslinger (0-1) suffered the loss for the Pirates.
Godwin nailed a two-run homer to left in the sixth to go along with a single and a pair of doubles.
Seton Hall (0-1) hurt itself with eight errors in their season opener.
