Tar Heels Conclude Third Week Of Scrimmages

Chapel Hill, NC--Â The North Carolina Tar Heels wrapped up their third week of Fall Ball with a seven-inning scrimmage on Sunday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium.
Offensive Highlights:Â Â Gavin Gallaher's four singles paved the way to a 4-4 with one RBI day at the plate. Harrison Ailshie was 3-5 with four RBI. Ailshie blasted two home runs, one 375-feet and the other 368-feet. Devin Russell, who doubled, was 4-4 with three RBI.
Erik Paulsen doubled in his 2-5 day. Mandela Browman's 2-3 effort included a 370-foot homer to left-center. Kole Fenton was 2-3, while Cooper Nicholson was 2-5. Sawyer Black doubled in his 2-4 effort with one RBI.
Tyler Howe had a  378-foot home run. Casey Cuddyer's double was the scrimmage's other extra-base hit.
Pitching Highlights:Â Cameron Tarkenton, Joey Ruller, Nick Rumbley, Harrison Ailshie, Boston Flannery, Tim Lawson, Sean Hurley. Camron Seagraves, Amos Rich and Ryan Smith all saw action on the mound.
The Tar Heels will play host to Walters State on Friday at 4:00 pm at the Bosh. Admission is free and open to the public.
