Bio
AS A SOPHOMORE (2025)
• Started all 61 games at third base for the Diamond Heels.
• Finished the season slashing .325/.409/.603 with 17 home runs and team highs in hits (77) and RBIs (68).
• Ranked third in the ACC in RBIs and eighth in home runs.
• Went nuclear in the Chapel Hill Regional for the second straight year, averaging .722 with 13 hits, seven runs, three doubles, his first career triple, three home runs, and 10 RBIs.
• The hits and RBIs were the most by a Heel in a regional this century and the three homers were the most since 2006. He failed to reach safely just four times all weekend.
• Won his second consecutive Chapel Hill Regional Most Outstanding Player award for his efforts. Also named to the regional all-tournament team.
• His hot back-half of the season got started with a four-game stretch against Elon (4/08) and Wake Forest (4/11-13) that earned him ACC Player of the Week honors. He slashed .600/.647/.1.400 with four homers, seven runs and 11 RBIs.
• Recorded his first multi-home run game against Elon, launching three-run and two-run jacks to lead Carolina to victory.
• Homered in each of the run rules of the Demon Deacons as UNC went on to sweep their conference foe.
• Logged three hits in three straight games to open that week, the first such streak of his career. In middle of that run, he would go 10 straight plate appearances without registering an out.
• From that game against Elon until the end of the year he led the team in almost every batting category, including average (.409), hits (47), doubles (10), home runs (13), slugging percentage (.852), and on base percentage (.496).
• Set a new career-high and tied the program record with three home runs against Pitt (4/25). He is the 10th player in Carolina history to hit the benchmark. Hit all three in consecutive at-bats.
• Added his third multi-home run game of the season in the regional clinching win over Oklahoma (6/02).
• Registered the team’s first walk-off of the season when his sac fly scored Jackson Van De Brake to beat No. 24 Coastal Carolina in the bottom of the 11th.
• Led the team in two-out RBIs with 34.
• Named to the All-ACC Academic Team.
