Baseball Claims ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Diligent work in the classroom has helped Carolina baseball earn the ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award for 2025-26, the organization announced on Wednesday.
The award honors ABCA member programs that posted a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the full academic year. This year's award recipients include nearly 500 college programs and more than 320 high school programs.
Carolina is one of eight teams from the ACC and one of only three teams that participated in the 2026 Men's College World Series to do so.
