Senior: NCAA First Round Qualifier in the shot put for the outdoor season • Earned All-ACC honors for his third-place finish in the indoor shot put • Came back from knee surgery to compete in his senior season • Threw an indoor season-best 57-0 ¾ (17.39 meters) at the Gene Anderson Invitational and an outdoor season best 56-9 ½ (17.31 meters) at the ACC Outdoor Championships • Nominated for a Rammy and was a finalist in the Breakthrough Male category.

Junior: Threw a season best 57-1 (17.40 meters) at the 2012 New Balance Collegiate indoor shot put • Did not compete in the outdoor season.

Sophomore: Took fifth and threw personal best 57-5 ½ in the shot put at the ACC Outdoor Championships • Took sixth in the shot put at the ACC Indoor Championships.

Freshman: Placed sixth at ACC Indoor Championships with throw of 56-5 • Finished ninth at ACC Outdoor Championships • Competed at Penn Relays in shot put • Took fifth at UNC Gene Anderson Indoor Invite with 53-6 ½.
